Beaver Cheer Wins Runner-Up at 2024 NCA College Nationals

The Pratt Community College cheer team recently celebrated their runner-up finish at the 2024 NCA College Nationals competing in the intermediate large coed junior college division. This makes the program's fourth top-three finish in the last four years. In addition, the team finished as the highest-scoring Kansas team at nationals regardless of division, outscoring by a whole point or more institutions like Dodge City, University of Kansas, Kansas State, Wichita State and more. The Beavers finished with a score of 95.1736.

In addition, this season the Beavers brought home their fifth straight conference championship this year competing in the intermediate large coed division. This title is a part of seven conference championship titles in which we competed in traditional team routines, gameday performances, and student competitions. Beyond the mat, the team has shown dedication in the classroom and community with an approximate team GPA of 3.05 and 780 hours of community service.

"It takes all 27 members, and I could not be prouder of each and every one of you for all of your hard work and dedication over the last nine months and becoming the best version of yourself to make this a successful season," said head cheer coach Shae Napier.
