The Beaver Esports team, specifically the Overwatch 2 team, has begun their series with a series of qualifying matches for the Overwatch 2 LAN Tournament at Highland Community College on September 22. The team opened with a 3-0 loss against Wichita State University on September 8. The team was back in action on Thursday, September 15 facing Iowa Central.  

The match opened with the control game mode on the Lijiang Tower map. The Beavers struck first going up in the game 99-48 before the Tritan's made a comeback winning the first game mode. Pratt quickly tied the match up 1-1 by winning the hybrid game mode. The team went on to win both the next two game modes flashpoint and a come from behind push victory for a 3-1 win. The first of the 2023-24 season.  

The Overwatch 2 team will be back in action against Emporia State University on Tuesday, September 19th at 8:00 PM before heading to Highland Community College on Friday, September 22nd.
