The Pratt Community College Esports Valorant team defeated Glenville State University 2-0 in the Unified Collegiate League Contenders Mountain Division grand finals. The Beavers finished the season with a perfect 10-0 record and did not lose a single map all season, going 20-0 against the four divisional opponents. This is the first division championship for the Valorant team and the first team championship for the Esports program under the guidance of head coach Charles Keefer.
"To win a division championship with technically two substitutes who play on Overwatch 2 varsity team speaks to the dedication and work ethic our student athletes have for this program and team. I did not know what to expect starting a brand-new Valorant team as a part of our program, but a divisional championship in semester one was not on the radar," said coach Keefer. "We are excited for our two other main roster players from Brazil to join us in January and for this team to compete for another division championship and a potential national championship."
