Pratt, Kan. – The Pratt Community College Beavers wrapped up their non-conference schedule this afternoon, November 12 in front a quiet crowd. The Kansas Wesleyan (JV) Coyotes were in town to do battle with the Beavers.
The Beavers started the game on a 10-0 run before giving the Coyotes their first bucket of the night. Kansas Wesleyan was never able to tie the game, but did manage to get within ten points of Pratt 27-19 at the 5:39 mark of the first half. At the half, Pratt lead 41-23. By the 6:52 mark of the second half the Beavers had amassed a thirty-point lead 72-42. The Beavers rolled to a 94-52 win.
Sophomore Quintin Metcalf lead the team with 27 points and 9 rebounds. Qai Kellman had five assists with 10 points in the game. Sterling Young with 13 points and Jaylen Davis with 11 points rounded out the four Beavers in double digit points.
Pratt is set to open Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference play against Seward County on Wednesday, November 16th. Game time is set for 7:30 pm following the women's game against the Saints in the Beaver Dome.
