Pratt, Kan. - On Wednesday, October 12, the Pratt Community College Beavers hosted the #12 Red Devils of Allen County Community College. In what has become a rivalry between the two teams, last night's match was not only for jockeying in the conference standings, but one where the Beavers were looking for revenge after having lost at Allen County 2-1 back on September 21. 

The Beavers did just that winning the game 2-0 with a clean sheet. The team advanced to 6-3-2 overall and 4-2 in conference play and currently is on a four game winning streak. 

Freshman goalkeeper Brandon Bumgarner had six saves in the box while both Gustavo Lira and Gabriel Dias Juliani each picked up a goal in last night's win.  Dias Juliani was also credited with the assist on Lira's goal. Dias Juliani's goal came off a free kick. 

Pratt will travel to Columbus, NE to take on the Central Community College Raiders on Saturday, October 15th. The Beavers defeated the Raiders at home on September 24th in overtime 4-3. The team wraps their regular season next Wednesday, October 19th by traveling to Hesston College to face the Larks.
