Beaver Track and Field Ready to Dominate Herm Wilson Invite

The Beaver track and field program is set to compete this weekend at the Herm Wilson Invite on the campus of Wichita State University. Field events get underway on January 27 at 12:00 pm followed by the 5000M run at 6:00 pm. A full schedule of events begin the following day, January 28 starting at 9:30 am. You can catch all the action live at the Heskett Center in Wichita, KS.

Last Time Out

Last Saturday, January 21 the Beavers competed at the NAIA/Juco Challenge in Pittsburg, KS. Pratt had two athletes qualify for the NJCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships. Serenity Jackson qualified in the 400M with a time of 57.29. In addition, Jackson broke the school record for the indoor 400M dash and is currently ranked fourth in the event. Davon Beckles qualified in the 800M with a time of 1:55.43. Beckles is ranked 15 in the event.
