Beavers Qualify Two For Track & Field Outdoor Nationals

The Beaver track and field program attended two meets this past weekend, March 25. Most of the team traveled to Houston, TX to compete in the Prairie Valley Relays. While a select few stayed back in Kansas and attended the Mark A Phillips Tiger Open in Arkansas City, KS. The program had success at both meets including their first two national qualifiers for the NJCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in May.  

Brandon Colglazier who finished his indoor season as an All-American and the NJCAA Region VI men's high jump champion has officially qualified for the outdoor track and field championships with a jump of 2.02 m. On the track, Tyler Sonnier qualified in the 200M with a time of 21.30.  

The team will be back in action this weekend at the Friends Invite in Wichita, KS.
