The Beaver track and field team competed at the Washburn Open this past weekend, Feb. 2-3 at Washburn University. The two-day event was hosted in Topeka, Kan. at the Washburn Indoor Athletic Facility and featured five student athletes from Pratt.  

On the women's side Mikayla Henry was the only entry for Pratt. She competed in the 60m dash and 200m dash. She finished 31 in the 60m dash and 71 in the 200m dash. The men's 4x400m relay team was the top performance of the weekend with a 13-place finish with a time of 3:22.22. The relay team consisted of Sebastion Gilbreath, Quintin Johnson, JaMuri Brooks-Davis, and Daniel Amparan. Gilbreath competed in the 400m and 200m dash. Brooks-Davis was the final individual entrant in the 60m dash. 

Up next for the Beavers is a scheduled trip back to Topeka, Kan. for the Ichabod Invitational on February 9-10.
