Beavers Set Personal Records on Day 1 of NJCAA Championships

Two Pratt Community College runners competed in the preliminary men's 60M dash this afternoon at the NJCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships is Gainesville, Fla. Sophomore Joseph Michel finished eighth place with a time of 6.75 which is a personal best for Michel. He also made it into the men's 60M dash finals which is scheduled to take place Saturday, Mar. 2 at 1:35 p.m. EST. In addition, freshman Kareem Small finished in fourteenth place with a time of 6.81 which is also a personal best for Smalls.  

On the women's side, sophomore Serenity Jackson finished fifteenth in the women's 400M dash prelims with a time of 57.76. Mikayla Henry competed in the women's 60M dash prelims and finished with a time of 7.98. The women's 4x400M relay team consisting of Taisha BellMikayla HenrySerenity JacksonNaomi Vagher is scheduled to run Saturday, Mar. 2 at 3:55 p.m. EST.
