The Beaver women's basketball team started a three-game road trip tonight, January 25 against Hutchinson Community College. The Beavers entered tonight on a four-game losing streak while the Blue Dragons were on a six-game winning streak. Both teams meet back on November 22 in the Beaver Dome with Hutch taking game one 74-57.  

Pratt struck first in the game while Hutch quickly tied the game. By the 2:05 mark of the first quarter the Blue Dragons secured a 19-9 lead and ended the quarter up 23-11. Hutchinson outscored the Beavers 25-16 in the second quarter and lead 48-27 at half. Pratt was competitive in the third quarter, but could not close the gap as the Blue Dragons rolled comfortably to a 88-57 win.  

Princess Anderson was held under 20 points for only the sixth time this season. Anderson finished the game with 17 points. Isis Sanders finished the game with 16 points and four rebounds. Emily Action scored 12 points while Macy Hanzlick had 10 points. The Beavers improved in their turnovers tonight by only turning the ball over 12 times. The Beavers were dominated on the boards 44 to 27.  

The Beavers will continue their road trip on Saturday, January 28 at Butler Community College. Tip-off is set for 2:00 pm.
