The Beaver women's basketball team hosted the Colby Trojans tonight, February 8 in the Beaver Dome. Both teams entered tonight's game on a losing streak. Pratt was looking to get into the win column after seven straight losses. Colby was looking for their first conference win of the season.  

The Beavers jumped out to an early 8-2 lead in the first two minutes of play. Colby pulled within one point 14-13 with 5:16 left in the first quarter. Colby took their first lead of the game 19-18 with 2:20 left. Pratt managed to take back the lead and ended the quarter up 20-19. The Beavers shut out the Trojans 20-8 in the second quarter. Pratt had built an 11-point lead 38-27 with 3:45 in the second quarter. The Beavers added two more points to lead 40-27 at halftime. Colby did come out in the third quarter and put up 18 points, but Pratt responded with 19 of their own points. The Beavers lead 59-45 heading into the fourth quarter. Pratt outscored the Trojans 31-18 in the fourth quarter to roll to a 90-63 win.  

Princess Anderson got back above 30 points for the first time in over two weeks. She finished with 33 points and 11 rebounds in just 30 minutes of play. Isis Sanders finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds while Emily Acton had 17 points. Macy Hanzlick finished with 16 points and 7 rebounds. Pratt outrebounded the Trojans 40-36 and only turned the ball over 12 times.  

Pratt will host Barton County on Saturday, February 11. Tip-off is set for 2:00 pm.
