The Pratt women's basketball team hosted the Tabor College (JV) Bluejays on November 9 for their second game of the season. They went up big to start the game and lead 21-7 at the end of the first quarter. By halftime they had grown a 19 point lead 41-22. It was more of the same in the third quarter with the Beavers leading 60-44 after three quarters. Pratt rolled to a 78-54 win.
Sophomore Isis Sanders lead the team with 17 points while Princess Anderson had 15 points and Celesta Teijema added 14 ponts. All of Anderson 15 points came in the first half. Katelin Long was the leading scorer for the Bluejays with 16 points while Kaylee Kauffman added 10 points.
The Beavers are headed to Plainview, TX this weekend to take on the Wayland Baptist (JV) team on November 11 at 4:00 PM. They will return home next Tuesday and Thursday night before starting conference play.
