The Pratt Community College women's basketball team hosted Colby Community College on Dec. 6 in Dennis Lesh Sports Arena. The final score was 67-45 in favor of the Beavers.

In the first quarter, the Beavers took an early lead with a score of 12-8. Both teams scored 20 points each in the second quarter. However, Pratt maintained their lead throughout the game and extended it in the third and fourth quarters. They outscored the Trojans 17-11 in the third quarter and 18-6 in the fourth quarter.

The Beavers had a balanced scoring attack, with Isis Sanders and Princess Anderson leading the way with 15 and 16 points respectively. They also had a strong defensive presence, with Anderson recording 8 steals in the game. Sofia Lopez was the leading scorer for Colby with 18 points. Noella Biduaya also contributed with 11 points. 

This win improves the Beavers record to 7-4 overall and 2-4 in conference play. Pratt will travel to Independence, Kan. to face the Pirates for their final game of 2023. Tip-off is set for 2:00 PM.
