The Pratt Community College wrestling team will be hosting their third annual Hog Roast Fundraiser on Oct. 20. The event will take place at 7 p.m. in the Riney Student Center on the campus of Pratt Community College.

As a curtesy to fans and supporters, admission to the dinner will be free. The dinner is held to show appreciation to sponsors of Pratt wrestling and the Beaver Nation. Attendees are welcomed to participate in a silent auction and raffle which will include a variety of prizes.

Raffle tickets can be purchased for $5 apiece, or bought in groups of five for $20. Tickets may be distributed and put towards different items of the guest's choice. The Prizes up for grabs will include several Pratt wrestling branded Yeti ramblers, a Yeti Hopper Two soft cooler, a Pratt wrestling custom made corn hole set, a PCC athletics branded chair, a Vera Bradley bundle of purses & wallets and a gift tree card to various restaurants and retail stores. More items will also be added the night of the event.

The silent auction will feature opportunities to bid for both a waterfowl and hog hunt that will take place on grounds donated to Pratt wrestling. The starting bid for the waterfowl hunt will begin at $200. The hog hunt will open up at $250.

The event will correspond with Pratt wrestling's eighth annual Jog-A-Thon where each student-athlete will raise funds by completing a 7.5 mile run in under an hour. The wrestling team will look to raise $1 for every lap completed by a student-athlete for a total of 30 laps.

All proceeds will go to travel expenses, off-season training & competition and facility upgrades. Those who are unable to attend can still contribute to the Pratt wrestling program by making a tax-deductible donation to their fundraising campaign.
