The No. three ranked Beavers traveled to Great Bend, Kan. on Saturday, Feb. 10 for the NJCAA South Central District Tournament on the campus of Barton Community College. Pratt came into the tournament having recently finished their regular season 7-0 and won their fourth straight Kansas Jayhawk Community College conference championship.
Last season, the Beavers won the program's first South Central District Tournament. Pratt fell short today by 3.5 points as they will finish runner-up at the 2024 NJCAA South Central District Tournament. Both No. five ranked Kaden Spragis and No. one ranked Easton Taylor won championships today. See the full results for each wrestler below.
Up next, for the Beavers will be a trip to Council Bluffs, Iowa for the NJCAA Men's Wrestling Tournament. Pratt will try and follow up last year's national runner-up finish with the program's first national championship. Matches will be held on March 1-2 at the Mid-America Center.
