The Pratt Community College women's soccer team held their last home game of the season against Barton Community College. The Beavers honored sophomore women's soccer athletes for their last appearance on the Beaver Pitch. A combination of high spirits and a large home crowd was not enough to tackle Barton. The Cougars went on to defeat Pratt 7-0.

PCC finished with just five shots on target. Three of their efforts came from leading scorer Quemberli Merida. Midfielder Isabella Battaglia and forward Leslie Villanueva also contributed with a single shot each.

A loss against Barton puts Pratt at 5-5 during home games this season. The blue and white now hold a fifth place ranking in the West Division of the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference. Three more conference contests lie ahead for the Beavers this season.

PCC women's soccer will kick off next at Northwest Kansas Technical College on Oct. 15. Catch the Beavers in action at 2 p.m. (CST).
