Pratt Community College defeated Mesa Community College on March 18! The Beavers traveled to Mesa, AZ to take on the 24th ranked Thunderbirds and were able to leave with a 6-3 victory!  

At #1 doubles, a slow start (2-7) hampered the Beavers who fell 9-8(4) in a tiebreaker. The #2 and #3 doubles teams were able to secure victories 8-2 and 9-7 respectively. This put Pratt up 2-1 after doubles play. 

The team had a great showing in singles. The Beavers were able to win 4 of the 6 matches and secured their victory. All 4 of the singles matches that the Beavers won were against players who had higher Universal Tennis Ratings. This should be a great boost for the team as they prepare for their tough conference schedule next month.
