Women's Cross Country Enters Top 25

PRATT, Kans.- Following a finish of 13th in the NJCAA Division I Coaches Poll to conclude the 2018 season, the women of Pratt cross country have been welcomed in the intial Top 25 poll of 2019.

Before the Beaver women take off for tomorrow's Southern Stampede in Joplin, Mo., Coach Larson's girls will eventually run as the #23 team in the nation, splitting the honor with Vincennes University (Ind.). The entirety of the Top 25 rankings can be found here.

Pratt's lone event so far in 2019 was the JK Gold Classic, hosted by Wichita State and having taken place at RAFT Golf Course in Augusta. Patricia Koma's time of 16:38 over the course of the four kilometer race was tops among her teammates, with Jamie De La Torre (17:15), Kalen Aguero (18:22), Serena Blaske (19:03), Meadow Valeriano (19:27), and Maya-Angela Miller (20:43) all accumulating a total time of 1:30:48.
