PRATT, Kans.- The women of Pratt cross country have turned the 2019 season into a sterling one, and they did much of the same at the NJCAA Cross Country Championships in Albuquerque. 

The Beavers finished 18th in a field of 38 teams running the 5K race, compiling a team score of 525. Shantierra Jackson finished with a team-best time of 20:21.26, placing her 56th. Jackson was followed by Patricia Koma (21:03.17), Jamie De La Torre (21:32.64), Nikera Durr (21:45.51), Kalen Aguero (22:08.80), Serena Blaske (24:16.25) and Meadow Valeriano (25:44.38).

The Beaver men participarting in the 8K race, Erick Estrada and Uwimana Rukundo, finished 96th and 159th, respectively. Estrada completed the race with a time of 26:56, with Rukundo clockin in at 27:50.
