Pratt, Kan. - The Pratt Community College cross country team and head coach Jason Deel are excited to announce their 2025 season schedule. This year The Beavers will run at three in-season and two post-season meets.
They will start their season on August 29 competing at The Terry Masterson Twilight Classic meet in Hutchinson, Kan. Then they will travel to Bethel College and will run at The Muthama-Rogers XC Invitational, on September 13. A month later, on October 3, the Beavers will go to Chanute, Kan. to run at the Neosho County Community College Invite.
The post-season for the Beavers will start on October 24 when they go to Colby, Kan. to compete at the Region Six and Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Championships. To wrap up their season, they will then travel to Fort Dodge, Iowa on Nov. 11 to run at the National Junior College Athletic Association National Championship.
“This season is all about building a culture based on toughness, accountability and pride,” Deel said. “We will be focused on doing things the right way, showing up, competing with heart, and pushing each other every day. It will not be just about chasing fast times; it will be about building strong relationships while setting a standard and creating something that will last beyond just one season.”
