Pratt, Kan. - The Pratt Community College women's basketball team traveled to Liberal, Kan. on Saturday, March 8 for the opening round of the NJCAA Region Six Women's Basketball Tournament against the Seward County Community College. The Beavers unfortunately lost the game 81-49 to end their season 8-23 overall and 3-21 in conference play.  

The first quarter was close with the Saints hitting a late shot to take a 21-17 lead. The Beavers were held to only five points in the second quarter. In the third quarter, Seward outscored the Beavers 25-16 while in the fourth quarter the Saints scored 18 points compared to Pratt's 11 points. The Beavers ended the game with 36 rebounds.  

Freshman La'Kyra Johnson lead the team with 18 points while Dana Imankulova added 10 points. Kalani Brock lead the team with 10 rebounds and was a point shy of a double-double.
